The meals will alternate on a weekly basis and will be provided at the start of the month with the menu. The menu will be posted on the entrance of the main door; a copy may be requested if needed. All meals will be stored appropriately to avoid contamination and will be served under proper temperatures. Due to our allergy policy, we do not allow any outside food or drinks except water into our facility. We kindly ask parents not to send snacks/ lunch with your child to assist in enforcing our allergy policy. In case your child has a special diet such as an allergy to certain food, we ask for parents to provide an alternative meal for that day.
In order to enrich your child’s learning experience, we will occasionally have field trips. Upon arrival/ before departing any field trip center, we will do a count on all of the children, using an attendance sheet, specifically created for the trip. During the course of field trips, each staff member will have specific children that they are responsible for under their supervision. Before any child participates in a field trip, the center will obtain written permission from the parent or guardian. We also welcome parents as volunteers to join us in fieldtrips that will enhance your child’s learning and hands-on experience!
Toys are very dear for children; hence for your child’s favourite toy, we ask you to keep rested at home to avoid damage/ loss. Toys that cannot be cleaned and sanitized should also be kept at home. If you would like to send a toy with your child, we will have him/ her store it in their cubby. Stuffed animal friends will be allowed during nap time.
At World Class Kids, each child who spends more than four hours a day at the facility will have their own clot. No child should share any of their sleeping supplies or bedding with any another child as clean linens should be provided for each child. Linens will be sent home with each child biweekly and ask that they are cleaned and returned. Parents will supply pillow, linens, and blankets at their own cost. We also ask parents to send diapers and wipes with the child’s name labelled on them.
We welcome parents in assistance in toilet training, toilet training is a co-operative process that involves parents and staff. Staff will use positive approaches in order to help build your child’s self-esteem. In order to achieve the results quickly and effectively, parents and staff must agree upon a method and communicate with each other. This process requires extra laundry, so we need enough change of clothes as we wrap up the process together!
